A Woodstock Tradition Since 1886
For 140 years, F.H. Gillingham & Sons has been part of the fabric of Woodstock, Vermont. Founded in 1886 by Frank Henry Gillingham, the family-run general store continues to welcome generations of residents and visitors to its historic home at 16 Elm Street.
Today, brothers Frank and Jireh Billings carry on their great-grandfather's legacy, preserving the character and traditions that have made Gillingham's a beloved Woodstock institution.
Supporting Cinema in Our Community
Pentangle Arts is proud to recognize Gillingham's as a Cinema Series Sponsor for the 2026–2027 season.
Their generous support helps Pentangle bring year-round film programming to the Woodstock Town Hall Theatre, including Mondays at the Movies, film festivals, first-run releases, and special screenings.
We're grateful to Gillingham's for investing in the arts and helping keep Woodstock a vibrant place to gather, connect, and experience great films.
