Pentangle Arts collects personal information when you choose to send us an inquiry through our website.

Our Rent the Theatre form asks for your name, email address and message, and may also ask for information such as your phone number, preferred date, type of event, number of guests and special requirements.

Our Sponsorship form asks for your name, organization and email address, and may also ask for your phone number, website, sponsorship interests, preferred sponsorship level, message and preferred method of contact.

These inquiries are delivered to Pentangle staff by email so that we can respond to your request. The website does not maintain a separate copy of your inquiry after it is sent, although our email service may maintain records associated with sending the message and the email itself may remain in Pentangle's email accounts.

Please do not submit sensitive personal information through these forms.

Pentangle does not process ticket purchases, donations or payment-card information through pentangle.org.

Ticket purchases and online donations are handled by ThunderTix. Our newsletter signup form is also provided by ThunderTix.

When you purchase tickets, make a donation, or submit the newsletter form, the information you provide is submitted to ThunderTix rather than to Pentangle's website.

Pentangle's website does not receive your payment-card information or purchase details from ThunderTix.

Information submitted to ThunderTix is handled according to ThunderTix's own privacy practices. You can read the ThunderTix privacy policy for details.

Registration for some Pentangle Education programs may be provided through Google Forms or another registration service. Information entered into those forms is submitted to that service rather than through pentangle.org.

A registration form may request information appropriate to the particular program, including information relating to participating children or their parent or guardian. Please review the information requested by the registration form before submitting it.

Like most websites, the services that deliver pentangle.org may process basic technical information needed to provide and secure the site, such as your IP address, browser or device information, request information and the time of your visit.

Service providers involved in delivering portions of the site may also receive ordinary connection information when your browser requests their content. These providers include our website hosting infrastructure, Google Fonts, Sanity and ThunderTix.

Pentangle does not use this information for advertising or behavioral tracking.

Pentangle does not use advertising trackers or third-party advertising pixels on pentangle.org.

The site uses Google Analytics, a widely used measurement service, to help us understand how visitors use pentangle.org — for example which pages are opened and how often visitors click through to a ticket page. Google Analytics sets small cookies in your browser and collects information such as the pages you view, the general region you are visiting from and your browser type. We do not use Google Analytics for advertising, and it is not used to identify you.

Staff who are signed in to manage the site are excluded from both Google Analytics and our own anonymous counts.

The site may use temporary browser storage necessary for basic functionality, such as remembering your position on a page during a browsing session.

Third-party services displayed on or linked from the site, including ThunderTix, may use their own cookies or similar technologies according to their own policies.

Pentangle keeps a simple anonymous count of how many times each page is opened and how often visitors click through to a ticket link for a particular date. These counts record only the page or date involved, never your identity, your IP address or anything that could be linked back to you, and they are not shared with anyone else.

Pentangle uses third-party services to provide certain features of our website. When you use these services, information you provide may be processed according to the provider's own privacy policy and practices.

• ThunderTix provides ticketing, online donations and newsletter signup.
• Google Analytics helps us understand aggregate site usage and sets its own cookies, as described above.
• Google Forms is used for some Education registrations.
• Sanity hosts some event images.
• Lovable and Lovable Cloud provide website hosting, infrastructure, storage and related website services.
• Pentangle also links to Facebook and Instagram. If you follow those links, you are leaving pentangle.org and using those services under their own privacy practices.

Pentangle does not control the privacy or data-retention practices of these third-party services.

We use information submitted directly to Pentangle to respond to inquiries, communicate about the request you made, operate and protect the website, and maintain our services.

We do not sell personal information submitted through pentangle.org.

Pentangle keeps inquiry emails for as long as staff reasonably need them for communication and organizational purposes. Our service providers may retain technical or service information according to their own practices.

We may retain information longer when reasonably necessary to meet legal, accounting, security or organizational obligations.

Pentangle uses reasonable measures intended to protect the website and information submitted through it. These include secure HTTPS connections, form validation and spam protections, limits on repeated submissions, restricted staff access and additional permissions for administrative functions.

No method of transmitting or storing information can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Authorized Pentangle staff may have accounts used to manage the website. These accounts may include a staff member's name, email address, role, optional profile photo and internal website notes.

Staff account information is used to operate and administer the website and is not part of the public visitor experience.

If your request concerns information you submitted directly to a third-party service, such as ThunderTix or Google Forms, you may also need to contact that provider directly.

We may update this Privacy Policy as our website, services or privacy practices change. When we make changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes may also be communicated through the website when appropriate.
